FAQ

Performance Lab — Frequently Asked Questions

How often is new Performance Lab content published?

Performance Lab updates roll out as our coaches finish training cycles, race blocks, and assessment rounds. New articles are added through the year — usually monthly — so each piece reflects something we are currently teaching on the floor at our West Island Montreal gym, not generic fitness content.

Who is the Performance Lab written for?

The Lab is written for everyBODY we train — beginners stepping into a gym for the first time, weekend warriors chasing a HYROX season, youth athletes building durability, and seniors keeping mobility and strength. Articles include scaling notes so you can apply them at your level.

Can I request a topic for the Performance Lab?

Yes. Members and prospective members can suggest topics through the contact form below or by phone. If a question comes up often during personal training, small group, or HYROX classes, our coaches will turn it into a Performance Lab article so the whole community benefits.

Do articles replace working with a coach?

No. The Performance Lab is educational — it explains how we think about training, programming, and recovery. Real progress comes from a coach watching your movement and adjusting load in real time. Reading speeds the conversation; coaching changes the outcome at Olympia Performance.

Where do I start if I am brand new to training?

Start with a free facility tour at 16869 Hymus in West Island Montreal. We will walk you through the gym, talk through your goals, and recommend the right program — gym membership, personal training, small group, HYROX, or Reformer Pilates — then point you to the matching Lab articles.
